Exemptions • The following shall be exempted from Titles II (Registration), V (Downstream users) and VI (Evaluation) • Substances included in Annex IV as sufficient info is available ( Ascorbic acid, Glucose, Stearic acid, mannitol, limestone, sunflower oil, soyabean oil , castor oil, lecithin, fatty acids etc) • The following shall be exempted from Titles II (Registration), V(Downstream users), VI (Evaluation) and VII(Authorisation) • Substances used in medicinal products for human or veterinary use • In foof or feedingstuffs (food additives, flavouring agents, additives, animal nutrition,
Natural substances • Are your substances of natural origin? • Have you carried out any modification resulting in change of chemical identity? • Are you exporting it for use in Cosmetics, medicine, feeding stuff? • Have you defined the use in your MSDS? • Do you have documented evidence for use by downstream user?
Annex IV exemptions • Fatty acids, Glucitols, Limestone, Sorbitan oleats, Sunflower oils, Soybean oil, Safflower oil, Castor oil, Rape seed oil, etc
Annex V exemptions • Substances that are formed due to exposure to air, moisture etc • Substances formed incidental to storage • Hydrates of a substances provided anhydrous forms registered • Mineral ores, ore concentrates, cement cinders, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, crude oil, coke, coal, • Substances occuring in nature other than than those listed above, if they are not chemically modified, unless they meet the criteria of dangerous
