COURSE OBJECTIVES • 1.To acquaint the fundamental principles of two-valued logic a various devices used to implement logical operations on variables. • 2.To introduce the concept of memories, programmable logic devices and digital ICs • 3.To Explain the basic operations of microcontroller. • 4.Improve written, oral, and presentation skills related to Digital Electronics and engage in life-long learning.
COURSE OUTCOMES After successfully completing the course, the students will be able to • Demonstrate the basic logic gates and various variable reducttechniques of digital logic circuit(unit I) • Design various sequential circuits and counters(Unit II) • Design synchronous sequential models and state Machines(Unit III) • Describe PLDSand Implement hardware circuit to test performance and application(Unit IV,V) • Explain the architecture and use of microcontrollers for basic operations and Simulate and verify using simulation software(Unit VI) 6.
