  2. PlanningGuide 5.3.2 Modifications to Request (March 1, 2012) (2) The IE shall update the Resource registration form as soon as possible following any change to the proposed facility and shall submit the updated information to ERCOT and the TSP. On March 1 and September 1 of each year, any IE that has submitted an FIS request shall submit to ERCOT, for each proposed facility, an electronic copy of a notarized attestation that, to the best of the attesting party’s knowledge, the Resource registration form data are correct. The attestation shall be sent by email to GINR@ercot.com. This obligation to update continues even after any interconnection agreement is signed. IEs must immediately notify ERCOT and the relevant TSP(s) of any change in ownership and shall provide conclusive documentary evidence of the ownership change (such as a purchase/sale agreement).

  3. Numbers • As of October 1st, there were 160 active generation projects in the GINR database • A spot check of the 55 requesting 2013 commercial operation dates found • 13 had no RARF in our files • 15 had a RARF from 2010 or earlier • 10 had a RARF from 2011 • 17 had a RARF from 2012

  4. ERCOT Request to Developers • Please review your entire list of generation projects in ERCOT • If you find that any have imperfect documentation, send an updated RARF on the version 5.1 forms to ginr@ercot.com • This will improve ERCOT’s reserve margin calculations and bring you into good standing with Planning Guide 5.3.2(2).

  5. Location of RARF 5.1 forms • On the ERCOT webpage, click Services. • On the Services page, click Registration and Qualification. • On the Registration and Qualification page, click Resource Entities. • On the Resource Entities page, click Steps to Register. • On the New Generation Resources page, click Resource Asset Registration Forms (.zip). • Inside this zip file there is a Resource_Registration_Guide_v5 document that will tell you which fields of the RARF need to be filled out at the screening study and FIS stages. • Also inside this zip file there is another zip file Site_Code_RARF_Package.zip. This second zip file has the blank forms.
