Operation IceBridge • Team deployed to Thule Air Base, Greenland • First P-3 Operation IceBridge mission with new wings and tail • Approximately 140 hours flown thus far in support of OIB
Sounding Rockets • Completed successful Poker Flat campaign • Four launches, three within a two hour period • Studied Auroras and interactions of solar winds with Earth’s upper atmosphere • Upcoming Missions from Wallops • Subtec 7: May 2 • Payload Ampule Testing Demonstration: May 23 • RockOn: June 22 • ASPIRE: August 1 • RockSat-X: August 15
Upcoming Missions • Antares will return to Wallops in late summer/early fall 2017 • 2 Antares missions on schedule for 2018 • A Minotaur I (pictured right) has been scheduled to launch from Wallops in 2018
New Facilities North Wallops Island Fire Station slated for completion in Summer 2017
New Facilities Mission Operations Command Center completion targeted for late Spring/Early summer 2017.
