Mission…Vision...Focus • Proto’s singular mission is the build the infrastructure and machinery to give as much at risk youths a chance to make the system work for them. • A child, regardless of race, colour or socio-economic background, getting an opportunity to wholesome education can become a functional and productive citizen despite all the new age problems our community now faces. • Proto’s vision is to have its reach in every part of Belize, whether by direct branches or affiliation with orgs of like mission, vision and focus. • Proto’s focus is so simple it almost poetic – PRIMARY SCHOOLS!!!!!
Method… • There is a river flowing in Belize…river of blood.. • One way to slow down a river is to build a dam! • We believe that dam can be built at the primary schools • That dam will be called “prevention first’ dam • If we can provide each and every child with the same resources, situations and circumstances as those provided to those of us with some means, then we may be on our way to reducing the amount of especially you males caught up in this river of blood..
