  5. New Paper II 2012-2013 Time Allowed: 1st & 3rd periods: Two periods ( 90 minutes ) 2nd & 4th periods: ( Two Hours )

  7. Grade 6 Old New Just one type

  8. Grade 6 • Picture description using guide words Clear and detailed picture should be provided ( children – park -a girl - play – with – butterfly - they - throw – ball - a boy - slide – they - tired - but - happy )

  9. Grade 7 Old

  10. Grade 7 New • Writing a short paragraph / e-mail with the help of guide words or phrases • 1st & 3rd periods( 6 sentences ) ( 10 guide words provided) • 2nd & 4th periods( 8 sentences ) ( 12 guide words provided) Stick to the number of guide words

  11. Grades 8 & 9 Old

  12. Grade 8,9 Grades 8 ,9 New Writing a report / a story / an e-mail Grade 8 : one paragraphwith the help of guide words or phrases « 8 – 10 » Grade 9: Twoparagraphswith the help of two main ideaswith ( 5 ) words each. New Marks will be considered for using pre-writing techniques “ graphic organizers , mind mapping
