BTH – in real life • BTH participates, in cooperationwithotheruniversities, in strategic research in the project ELLIIT – an investment in IT and mobile communication. • BTH cooperateswith Telenor in several areas such as joint research projects and in terms ofdevelopmentofskills. • BTH is a co-founder and leading partner of Green Charge South East – a collaborativeproject for electricvehicles in southern Sweden. • BTH cooperateswith the Swedish Transport Admini-stration in order toreducetraindelays. • BTH togetherwith Blekinge County Council, is involved in the projectPrimCareITdealingwithtelemedicine and howwecandevelopsustainable e-health services and products.
BTH – in real life • BTH cooperateswith Sida on SICD (Scandinavian Institute for Collaboration & Development) with the mission to support social and economicdevelopment in Africa and South America. • BTH carriesout research on health and healthcare for the increasing proportion ofolderpeople in the population. This is done in the SNAC project in cooperationwith the Ministryof Health, Blekinge County Council and the municipalityof Karlskrona. • BTH has two research profilessupported by the Knowledge Foundation. Onefocuses on the developmentof support methods and toolstodevelop the next generation ofsustainableproducts in the manufacturingindustry. The otherfocuses on creatingresource-efficient systems for big data analytics. The research is carriedout in collaborationwithseveralcompanies for example Ericsson, Telenor and Volvo. • BTH collaborateswith Ericsson and Compuverde in the area of data storage in the cloud (Cloud Computing). The goal is todevelopvirtual server capacity for effective system testing.
