  2. Kindle Paperwhite is not able to connect to Wi-Fi automatically: The Kindle Paperwhite scans automatically for Wi-Fi networks. That are in range of the Kindle device. The device connects itself automatically, if it finds the wi-fi network. To access the wi-fi if password is needed, a screen pops up ask you to input that information. In general it is very easy and fast process. Infrequently, however, if you want to connect to the Wi-Fi network manually. Follow these steps: (1) Click on the Menu, go to Settings. If the network shows from which you want to connect, click on that network. You’re done! If the network doesn’t show in the given list of networks available on your device: (2) Tap Other. A dialog box names “Enter Wi-Fi Network” displays, along with the on-screen keyboard. Using the onscreen keyboard, enter the network name and the password if require.
