Collaboration with Rental Car Companies ConRAC ConRAC • Most rental car companies own their own land and prefer their current operation. • 1,126,000 one-way trips made by individual rental car shuttles to/from the LAX Central Terminal Area from 9/1/14 through 8/31/15 • More than fifteen meetings with the industry, and many one-on-ones with major brand families • Explored over 20 design options – reached basic consensus on Preferred Alternative

  11. ITF Locations ITFs • ITFs provides new choices for passengers to access LAX via the APM system. • Allows LAWA to manage congestion and traffic in the CTA and the airport area. • Each ITF designed to serve particular markets. ITF WEST ITF EAST

  13. Metro – Overview & Connection Transit • Metro has agreed to build a 96th Street Station, to provide a rail and bus link to the airport. • LAWA has agreed to build an APM station above the planned 96th Street Metro Station to allow for quick and convenient transfers to LAX.
