This workshop, led by Greg Kilchenstein and Steve Linder, aims to develop a comprehensive AM policy for the Department of Defense (DoD) that integrates AM across acquisition, technology development, engineering, and logistics. The workshop has identified 24 policy statements in various disciplines, including engineering, qualification and certification, acquisition, and workforce. The next steps involve drafting the instruction, coordinating internally, and obtaining signatures for publication and issuance.
