One day Omakaya was walking through the park when she heard a chirp coming from the bush. When she went over she saw a baby crow with a hurt wing.
Omakayas decided to take the bird home. When she went pick up the bird it bounced backwards. Omakaya got down on one knee and called to the bird. Slowly the bird cameforward until it was in her arms.
Omakaya rushed home with the birds in her arms. When she got home her mother took the bird and wrapped its wing in a sling.
A few weeks had passed and the crows wing was all better. Omakayas mother decided that they would let the crow free today. Omakaya couldn't believe her ears “ but he crow is mine it stays here with me” “ The bird is a wild animal “ replied her mother
It took a lot convincing but Omakayas agreed to let the bird go. When they let the bird go it flew into the horizon till it was to far to see
