Solène Turquety – GEOS-CHEM Meeting April 4, 2005 GEOS-CHEM Near-Real Time Full-Chemistry SimulationsS. Turquety, D. J. Jacob, R. M. Yantosca, R. C. Hudman, L. Jaeglé, S. Wu • Objectives : • ICARTT campaign summer 2004: • Support flight planning: monitor any large deviations between the aircraft observations and our understanding of ozone and aerosol processes that may cause alteration of flight plans, • Generate a set of preliminary findings • Support satellite validation: Used at JPL by Qinbin Li for first analysis of TES and MLS data • Comparison with in situ measurements: Used byDan Jaffe’s group in University Washington • More?....
