In Multicultural school • In the elementary school there are two subjects: Islam and mothertongue • Situation in other countries • Currently there are two kind of pupils at schools: immigrants an Finns • Muslim pupils should feel being part of this society • How is the cooperation between home and school?

  4. In Multicultural Society How to develope? • Teacher training • National curriculum • Educational materials: books • Maturity test • Intergration with other subjects • Teachers with multicultural backgrounds

  5. Benefits • Roots the Muslims into Finnish society • Creates dialog in every level of the society • Prevents radicalization • Creates real Finnish speaking Muslim community
