  7. 4 Powerful Truths

  8. Truth #1

  9. Our old junkjust doesn’t magically disappear

  10. We have a sinfulnaturethat does not die easily.

  11. Gal 5:17

  12. The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires.

  13. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions.

  14. Tough questions:

  15. #1 Is there something in your life that burdens you, isolates you, and keeps you from experiencing the fullness of Christ and His love?

  16. #2 Do you frequently experience feelings of hopelessness, fear, dread, and isolation?

  17. #3 If you were to slip into eternity right now, what would you have to try to explain to God?

  18. Truth #2

  19. God calls you to be healed, but you have to have partin that healing

  20. Romans 12:2

  21. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. NLT

  22. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind KJV

  23. Do not be conformed to this world (this age), (fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs),

  24. but be transformed (changed) by the (entire) renewal of your mind (by its new ideals and its new attitude) AMP

  25. Some believers have enough of Jesus to avoid Hell , but not enough to live in FREEDOM

  26. Truth #3

  27. Satan wants to destroyyou

  28. John 8:44

  29. Satan is a liar, a deceiver, & wants to keep you from the fullness of the abundant life Jesus offers. He wants to keep you trapped in fear

  30. If you are feeling:

  31. Worthless Low self-esteem Isolated Fearful Constant worry

  32. Lie #1 You are unlovable; no one could ever love you

  33. Anger toward God God not responding to you God has deprived you Life is worthless hopeless

  34. Lie #2 God has abandoned you

  35. Hopeless, Isolated Jealous Always comparing self with others Inability to forgive Little or no trust

  36. Lie #3 Everyone will hurt you Trust no one

  37. Truth #4

  38. Jesus heals our deepest wounds

  39. “Come unto me all that our burdened down, wounded, living under a heavy burden! I will give you rest!” Matt 11:28 paraphrased

  40. 3 simple questions:

  41. #1 Do you really feel loved and can share love with friends, family, God?

  42. #2 Do you frequently know real, deep down, abiding joy, and a God-given happiness?

  43. #3 Are you free from feelings of comparison, jealousy, fear, self-loathing, and hopelessness?

  44. Satan pins his lies on us in the presence of wounding, trauma, abuse, pain

  45. When you accepted Jesus—God gave you His Holy Spirit

  46. Galatians 5:22 “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: LOVE, JOY, PEACE…”

  47. The absence of LOVE, JOY, PEACE in your life is a sure indication that Satan has pinned his lies to you

  48. Jesus wants to heal your deepestwounds— It’s called HEALING, RENEWING, FREEDOM
