Introduction • Flight has become a major mode of transportation in today's society. • This web quest project will provide an introduction to our Air Transportation unit. • Your task will be for you to research and investigate the Theory of Flight.
Task • Work individually • Identify and define the forces required for flight • Sketch a diagram showing these forces acting on an aircraft • Apply this information to your air racer project
Process • Research the Theory of Flight using the internet • Start by using the listed resources found on the next slide • Additional web sites of your own may be used • Record notes and other needed information on a separate sheet of paper • Write a short essay explaining the theory of flight • Short essay must discuss the forces required for flight • Create a diagram representing these forces
