  1. Adjectives • Adjectives must match the case, number, and gender of the nouns they modify.

  3. 3rd declension adjectives have 3rd declension endings. • As with the 1st and 2nd declension adjectives previously learned, they must agree with the nouns they describe in case, number, and gender. • Breve tempore, raeda immobilis, feminae fortes

  4. Stat immobilis Marcus • Marcus stands motionless. • Immobilis is an adjective modifying Marcus and is therefore nominative, masculine, and singular to agree with the subject of stat.
