  25. PHASE C – ALTERNATIVE STRATEGIES • PHASE C (Oct., 2007 to Oct., 2009): • Land needed for Ferry Parking until October, 2009 • Same property planned for Triad Development (City Hall Lot) and Waterfront Development (Hotel)

  26. PHASE C – ALTERNATIVE STRATEGIES PHASE C – OPTION 1: • Build parking structure on City Hall Lot C • Structure for use by ferry riders and hotel patrons • Structure would have to be open by Oct., 2007 • Temporarily locate City employees in remote lot and shuttle

  27. PHASE C – ALTERNATIVE STRATEGIES PHASE C – OPTION 2: • Create interim remote ferry lot at Kaiser Property (south lot) and shuttle riders to terminal • 250-300 remote parking spaces • Retains over 1,000 walkable ferry spaces • Allows one development project to proceed

Next Steps • Dedicate additional Lot C parking and on-street parking spaces for ferry riders (for Phase A – existing ferry service) – before May, 2004 • Complete Waterfront EIR (October, 2004) • Begin Post Office and My Café Acquisition (January, 2005) • 3rd Ferry Boat Operational (October, 2005)
