Issues: Le Vine 3/11/2010 • Antenna temperature correction • Check radiometer linearity for 0-100 (cold sky); Previous was for 100K and higher • Temperature HK: Include in code some checks/flags on PRT’s to indicate anomalous behavior (bad PRT or unexpected Temperature) • Code: Things to do: • Make accommodation for glitch filter • Incorporate C. Ruf RFI filter (replace median filter) • Include “zone 1” which is antenna loss • Include “impedance mismatch” • Mods to coordinate Scat dependence on Radiometer • Check: Need consistency check and verification of code (e.g. do we have all the prt’s properly identified) • RFI: Need filter on CND for RFI so it is not used in calibration when compromised by RFI • L2/L3 code over land: some mods needed • Faraday rotation • Provide IGS based (measurements/data assimilation) product; SMOS approach • Altimeter: Coordinate with S. Brown to get altimeter TEC at intersections close in time (1 hr) • Reflected background galactic radiation: Need work on best approach (Wentz, Dinnat) • Moon and Sun flags: Provide data (e.g. Solar reflected TB) • Consider making TA images (TA – TA for constant salinity)z
