Uue põlvkonna analüütika Kui seni on ärid planeerinud oma tegevusi minevikuandmete põhjal, siis tulemas on uue põlvkonna analüütika, mis lubab modelleerida äriprotsesse tuleviku jaoks erinevate stsenaariumitega ja teha tulevikuotsuseid reaalajas iga muudatusega, mis äriinfosüsteemis tekib. Toetab operatiivotsuste vastuvõtmist ja nende edukust.

Definitsioon Webster’s Revised Unabridged Dictionary defines analytics as “the science of analysis,” andanalysis as “the tracing of things to their source, and the resolving of knowledge into its originalprinciples.” From a business perspective, these definitions imply that analytics is about understandingthe root causes of business events and conditions. The upshot, of course, is that business people,armed with insights, will make the right decisions and take the appropriate actions to further theirorganizations’ tactical and strategic goals.

  14. SAP Unveils Next Generation of Business Analytics On Tuesday in Silicon Valley, SAP introduced its latest business software: business analytics applications for specific vertical industries. The event was kicked off by SAP co-CEO Bill McDermott, who demonstrated the simplicity of the applications on an Apple iPad, which has become the demonstration system of choice for SAP as well as a tool it provides for its sales force. Bill and EVP of Business Analytics Keith Costello provided a glimpse of the applications’ capabilities as part of the product launch event.

  16. Forrester research Forrester predicts that “next-gen BI” is taking shape by combining real-time access with pervasiveness, agility and self-service. This trend, however, is actually several trends happening at the same time. The self-service aspect is one that many companies would like to see more of, but progress has been slow. The other piece of this trend that Forrester talks about shaping the information technology world over the next three years is the growing shift from historical to real-time analytics. In addition, expect to see more analytics being applied to social data through text analytics tools.

  17. Kontekstipõhiline andmetöötlus Lõppkasutajaga suheldes hakkavad infosüsteemid arvestama kontekstiga, kasutaja sidemetega ja varasema käitumisega. Gartneri arvates on 2013. aastaks rohkem kui pooltel Fortune 500 firmadest kontekstipõhise andmetöötluse kogemus. 2016 aastaks on kolmandik mobiilsetest rakendustest kontekstitundlikud.

  18. Kõikehõlmav intellekt • Praeguseks oleme jõudnud kõikjaloleva intellekti ajajärku (Ambient Intelligence - AmI). Nimetatud suund on Euroopa Liidus võetud info- ja kommunikatsioonitehnoloogia (IKT) arengu aluseks.

  19. Uurimissuund • Vastavalt nimetatud visioonile sulandub inimene intelligentse liidese kaudu arvutustehnikaga toetatud globaalsesse võrgustikku. Arvutustehnika on integreeritud kõigesse, mis meid ümbritseb, nagu näiteks mööbel, riided, liikumisvahendid, teed, kodutehnika, töökeskkond. Selline keskkond eeldab väikesi, odavaid arvuteid, personaalseid digitaalseid assistente (PDA) ja veebi lülitatud mobiile, kaabliga ja kaablivabu sensoreid, mis koos suurte arvutitega moodustab kõikehõlmava arvutuskeskkonna. Keskkond peab olema kontekstiteadlik - häälestuma inimese vajadustele ja eesmärkidele, keskkonnale jne.

  20. Kontekstitundlikus Kontekstiteadlike süsteemide all mõistetakse seega süsteeme, mis häälestuvad mingil moel kontekstile. Olulisemad nendest on järgmised. • Kasutaja identiteet. • Ruumiline informatsioon: asukoht, suund, kiirus, kiirendus, objekti suhted füüsilises ruumis. • Ajaline informatsioon: ajaline järgnevus, ajaline tundlikus, päevaaeg, kuupäev, aastaaeg aasta. • Keskkonna informatsioon: temperatuur, niiskus, õhu saastatus, valgus, müra tase jne. • Sotsiaalne situatsioon: kasutaja sotsiaalne kuuluvus, lähedalasuvad isikud, perekondlikud suhted, kättesaadavad isikud jne.

Kontekstitundlikus järg • Kasutatavad ressursid: käsitletavad seadmed, serverid jne. • Ressursside kasutatavus: kuvari resolutsioon, võrgu laius jne. • Füüsilised karakteristikud: vererõhk, pulsi sagedus, hingamissagedus, hääle toon, lihase toonus. • Kasutaja füüsiline tegevus: rääkimine, lugemine, jalutamine, jooksmine, auto juhtimine. • Kasutaja emotsionaalne seisund: tähelepanu kontsentratsioon, häälestatus jne. • Ärireeglid, töögraafikud jne

  23. Järeldused • Eestis tuleks süstematiliselt minna progressi teed. • Uute lahenduste kiireim kasutuselevõtt -konkurentsieelis. • Haridus. Google palkas inimesi tööle IQ järgi • Teadus. Siiski Soomes ainult 2% innovaatikast on loodud Soome teadusasutustes. • Innovaatiliste ettevõtete soosimine.
