Transportation Working Group CEST Charge • Phase 1: Produce a NC State 5-year Sustainability Strategic Plan by Jan. 2010 • Phase 2: Participatein the creation of NC State’s Climate Action Plan (CAP), beginning Spring 2010 • Phase 3: Sustainability Tactical Plan and revisit Sustainability Strategic Plan once CAP completed • Contribute to Sustainability Annual Report & other scorecards Transportation

Transportation • Clarifying Our Focus: • Issues and Opportunities posed by NCSU’s Transportation system in the broader context of promoting “sustainable” policies and actions throughout the campus community. • Recommend transportation-related sustainability strategy elements and priorities for the next five years focused on “greener” campus system management alternatives and potential emission reductions supportive of carbon footprint reduction.
