  1. Where is Kenya? • Kenya is 7,000 miles away on the Indian Ocean • It is in Africa • It is twice the size of our state Nevada

  2. We will learn more about Kenya. • We’ll learn about the history, the wildlife, and typical foods that are eaten there. • We’ll learn about something else, too…

  3. We will learn that girls in Kenya have problems getting an education • When they finish elementary school they need to pay to go to high school; it is not free like our schools

  4. Most families do not earn enough money to send their girls to high school

  5. How Can We Help? • We can hold fundraisers to make money and donate it to Kids-4-Kenya! • Kids-4-Kenya will make sure that it reaches a special girl to help her go to school

  6. Sounds like FUN! Let’s GO! HURRAH for EDUCATION! Can we start NOW?

  7. $40.00 will buy books and supplies • $50.00 will buy uniforms • $383.00 will pay school fees • $300.00 will support a girl for half a year • $600.00 will support a girl for • the whole year Thank you!!
