What we did . . . • Lengthened recruiting cycle • Expanded interview panel and identified targeted questions • Identified behavioral and situational questions • Debrief on each candidate, seek unanimous decisions • Added content to training class • Trained mentors to expand support network • Identified knowledge gaps through evaluations • Acknowledged and rectified inadequacies, continuous improvement
