  5. Summary • This book is about a girl named Franny who was born to play the piano and is always competing against Prancy also known as the mean Nancy Orlee. You have to read the book to see if Franny beats Prancy in these concerts!

  6. Connections • 1. I play the piano like Franny. • 2. I have a best friend who I want to spend time with. • 3. My mom’s name is Lorraine (Lory for short). • 4. Franny has a lot in common with her dad and so do I. • 5. My piano teacher is also Russian.
