History • 1992: Idea of a Faculty of Health raised in a long-range planning document “2020 Vision” endorsed by Senate and the Board • June 2005: Health identified as a strategic academic priority in University Academic Plan • November 2005: Senate and Board of Governors approved the new Faculty of Health • July 2006: New Faculty came into being with the appointment of the inaugural Dean – Harvey Skinner
