Progress • Kickoff Meeting: May 16 • Review Vision for “Mailer of the Future” • Focus on gathering information to improve USPS processes including Induction, Resource Planning, Verification, Payment • Providing a mechanism to provide mail visibility • Telecon: June 26 • Reviewed information needed by USPS Operations to Improve processes • Data focused on timeframes & key info to improve planning for: • MTE • Staffing • Transportation
Progress • USPS has reviewed various existing data sources for the key data elements. • August 1 Meeting: • Workgroup reviewed data elements needed for Prenotification, Payment and Verification, Induction, and Visibility. • Leverage systems already in place – FAST, Mail.dat, PostalOne!
