  2. Brazilica, Liverpool • 12th-20th July 2013 • Brazilica 2013 is set to be the biggest event yet with samba bands from all over the world donning their costumes to be a part of one of the world’s most exciting samba festivals.

  3. Wednesday’s Fazakerley Cycle Club • New start: Thursday 4th July. • Time: 10.15am– 12.30pm. • Meet @ Fazakerley Community Fed-eration, Formosa Drive, L10 7.L.Q. • Contact: Angie: 523 1073

  4. The Liverpool Pirate Festival • 20th-21st July 2013 – Albert Dock - Free • There will be cannon, musketry and sword fighting displays throughout the event and kids can meet their favourite historical pirates and follow the Pirate Treasure Trailto learn their stories and find the hidden booty at the end.

  5. Brouhaha Street Festival 2013 • 27th July 2013 12.00pm-2.00pm. Starts Mulberry Street, ends Princes Park • The streets of Liverpool are brought to life with colour, dance, music and community - all the elements of carnival.

  6. British Triathlon Championships 2013 • July 16th 2013 • Up to 2,000 participants and many more spectators are expected to attend the event, which takes place in and around the Liverpool docks area, including running past the Echo Arena and the iconic Royal Liver Building.
