OVF’s Voter Services • Absentee Voter Registration and Ballot Request (FPCA) • Vote-Print-Mail Ballot Service – (FWAB) • Election Official Directory Services – complete election office contact database • State Voter Information Directory Service – dates, deadlines, state contact information • Voter Help Desk – instant response system knowledgebase, and personal help services • My Voter Account – personal data maintenance; facilitates reprinting of completed forms • Express Your Vote – FedEx shipping at special rates (for 6 weeks prior to elections)
Current Process • User accesses web-based 'wizard' application • Completes FPCA online • Downloads FPCA as PDF • Provided with instructions and mailing address to return signed original by postal mail • Option to save personal info in 'My Voter Account'
Next Step • Supplement current process by allowing electronic transfer of FPCA info to the states • eliminate states' need to re-key info from paper application • paper application serves as verification • alert states to pending requests, allows proactive follow-up with lost applications
