1. Sat Div 1 – Subject to change dependent on weather conditions. Any changes will be advised at the coxes/club reps. briefing. Boats 31 to 70+ Boats 1 to 30 • Boats 31 to 70+ continue to lock and turn at end of canal • Boats line up 2 abreast, close to the city bank, in approximate running order. Please leave space for boats to pass on their way to the lock gates to turn. • You will be sorted into order once the race has started and space is vacated by boats 1 to 30 • Boats 31 to 40 should be in the area between markers “30” and “40” • Boats 41 to 50 should be in the area between markers “40” and “50” • Boats 51 to 60 should be in the area between markers “50” and “60” • The remaining boats should be in the area between markers “60” and “70” • Marshals will advise if you need to change position • Once the race is underway, you will be called down in racing order by a marshal to the start. Do not move until instructed to do so by a marshal on the bank. • Boats 1 to 30 continue to 350m short of lock and turn ONLY when instructed to do so by a marshal • Turning point is between bank marker labelled “30” and “40” • Boats line up in order facing start, boat 1 closest to start at marker labelled “1” • Boats 1 to 10 occupy spaces between markers “1” and “10” • Boats 11 to 20 occupy spaces between markers “10” and “20” • Boats 21 to 30 occupy spaces between markers “20” and “30” • Marshals will advise location to stop. • Pull into bank when at your station and hold your position relative to the other boats.
