What do we learn from this story? • The man saw Lazarus every single day and never gave him food or money. • We should care about others before its too late. • Its important to listen to and act upon the word of God. • You could be rich on Earth but poor in heaven!
2 Corinthians 9:7 • So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
What can I give? • Money • Time • Food • A helping hand • A service
To know for this week • What we have is from God, not from us. • God gives us most of what we have and we are simply keeping some and giving some back. To Practice for this week • Think of someone in need and give them something (doesn’t have to be money).
