What’s included in your tour • Return coach travel from school to resort • Return ferry crossing from Dover – Calais route • 6 nights full board hotel accommodation based on multi-bedded • rooms. Drinks with meals other than breakfast are not included • Hot lunches daily • 6 days ski equipment hire – skis, helmet, boots and poles • 6 day local lift pass • 6 days, 4 hours ski tuition with Ski School* • Ski breakage and piste closure insurance • Dedicated representative service in resort • Approved Safety Management System * Excluding children under 7 and supervisory places
Insurance With SkiBound insurance every member of the party is fully covered for: • Loss of Deposit, Cancellation or Curtailment • Medical and other expenses / Hospital Benefit • Personal Accident • Personal Baggage and Luggage delay • Money and Passport • Personal Liability • Missed Departure • Travel Delay • Legal Expenses • Skis and Ski Equipment • Piste Closure, Adverse weather conditions, Avalanche or Landslide Policy excess will apply
Travel by coach • Coach will collect pupils from the school and transfer to resort • One suitcase per child – a soft bag is ideal • One piece of hand luggage per child • Wear loose fitting comfortable clothing • Include a toothbrush in hand luggage • Please ensure your child can carry their own luggage • Don’t forget your passport and EHIC card! • All coaches are sourced through Classic coaches who have an excellent reputation in school travel, and were recent winners of Best Operator at The National Express Awards • Coaches are air conditioned with toilets and seatbelts • 2 experienced, uniformed drivers per coach • Travel itineraries are planned in conjunction with Classic Coaches to ensure they adhere to the drivers’ driving hours and regulations
Your travel details • The coach will collect your group from school on Friday, 18th April 2014. • Your channel crossing will be with P&O Ferries (exact ferry times will be available approx 6 weeks prior to departure) • You will arrive in resort on Saturday, 19th April 2014, in time for dinner (included in your package) • You will depart from the resort on Friday, 25th April 2014, after a full day of skiing and dinner • You will arrive back at your school on Saturday, 26th April 2014.
Arrival in resort • SkiBound Clubhotels are run exclusively for SkiBound by SkiBound • Everything is geared to providing school groups with the exact services, facilities and support that a school party needs • On arrival you will be greeted by the SkiBound resort team • The SkiBound team will be available throughout your trip to ensure you have an enjoyable stay

Tignes Piste Map Excellent ski schools and nursery slopes in Tignes make for quick progression for beginners. For intermediates, an unbeatable selection of blues and reds can be reached by taking the Funicular up from Val Claret to the glacier.
Ski School • 6 days skiing is included in your package, 4 hours of instruction per day (pupils only) • 2 hour lesson in the morning, 2 hour lesson in the afternoon • You will be met by your instructors at the ski school meeting point on the piste • Expert instructors from the local ski school will develop your skills over the week • Group size are kept small (average 12 pupils) to ensure excellent supervision

Snowboarding Snowboarding lessons are for 4 hours a day where you’ll be taught… • Carving • Catching air • Piste riding • Powder riding • Board Park skills • Balance & control
Ski Fit • At SkiBound Clubhotels one of our in-house team of ski technicians will recommend and fit the most suitable equipment for your group • This ski fit and storage is within the hotel so it’s as easy and stress free as possible • We use the very latest Salomon equipment to ensure the highest possible standards of safety and performance • Helmets are compulsory and included as part of the package • Once you are kitted out simply open the door and you will be right there in the heart of the action, no need to traipse across the resort with all your kit!

What to wear It’s important to wear the correct clothing to stay warm and safe in the snow… Ski jacket Waterproof and windproof, with a hood and pockets Base layer Not cotton, as it doesn’t let out moisture. Synthetic layers are best Mid layer This is what will keep you warm. Fleece or hoody is ideal Ski trousers Waterproof and windproof, able to fit over boots
What to wear It’s important to wear the correct clothing to stay warm and safe in the snow… Mittens Or mittens are best if you suffer from cold hands Gloves Gloves are best for ease of movement Ski socks Only ever wear one pair of socks with your ski boots otherwise you’ll get blisters. If you get really cold feet try a silk undersock

Après-ski at Clubhotel Curling There are a range of Après-ski activities available at Clubhotel Curling… • Clubhotel cellar bar which can be used exclusively for SkiBound groups for an evening of dancing, karaoke or a party • Smaller cosy bar by the reception area for quieter times
