  6. They all experienced zero gravity aboard G-Force One

  7. This is the way they,Space Adventures, Ltd.,want us to thinkthe Zero-G experiencewill be! Zero-G Promotional video (3:08) I'll tell you the way it really was!

  12. Preflight Procedures at Hotel • Table with every possible motion sickness pill! WILL I EXPERIENCE MOTION SICKNESS? It is very unlikely than you will experience motion sickness. The ZERO-G Experience was designed to provide flyers a fun and pleasant experience, and over the years we have succeeded in reducing the number of flyers who experience motion discomfort on G-FORCE ONE.   Today, very few people experience uneasiness or nausea during the flight. 25% on our flight (me on 10th parabola)

  13. Preflight Procedures at Hotel • TSA check-in • Buffet breakfast (motion sickness reduced) • Pre-flight briefing (30 min) • Change into personal flight suits with sox • Barf bags in every major pocket • TSA security screenings • Transfer to bus to private side of airport

  14. Procedures at Airport • Group photos at aircraft • "Fasten seat belts" FAA preflight briefing • Take shoes off into big bag; color-coded sox • Flight to approved airspace100 mi long by 10 mi wide by 12,000 ft thickNellis Airforce Range (over NTS?)

  15. Procedures at Airport • A preflight briefing • Take shoes off into big bag; color-coded sox • Flight to approved airspace100 mi long by 10 mi wide by 12,000 ft thickNellis Airforce Range (over NTS?)

  16. Flight Path (parabolas) First parabola— Martian gravity (1/3) 2nd and 3rd parabolas—Lunar gravity (1/6) Next 12 parabolas—zero gravity (free fall)

  17. Zero-G video: Flight 229 blue Video not available online Contact David Groce for copy

  18. Lessons Learned • It's FUN; it is unlike any thing else (E-ticket plus) • Do not take a camera of any sort—enjoy yourself6 mounted videos & professional photographer • Hard to control (my) body; there is no vertical • Don't bump your head on ceiling—it hurts • Plan what you want to try on the next parabola • Don't eat the M&Ms—they come back up! • Watch out for flying bodies & sox-covered feet
