The Social Network Review This movie was based on a true story, and it was about how the founder of the social networking site Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, came to be. The movie took place during the Winter term at Harvard not too long ago, while Mark was still in college there. It was very interesting to see the extraordinary amount of work that went into designing just this one website that we take for granted everyday. • Click here to return to the Table of Contents
A “Must See “ Movie The Social Network is definitely worth an Academy Award. This movie wonderfully scripted, beautifully directed, and well-acted. It is a riveting and ambitious film, and is also very accurate in telling the true story of the founding of Facebook. It is creatively ironic too; who knew that someone who created the largest social site in the world had a dysfunctional social life himself? It is a crafty, pessimistic, entertaining take on a true story. • Click here to return to the Table of Contents
