Meet My Favorite Actor Tom Hanks was born on July 9, 1956 as Thomas Jeffrey Hanks. At age four, his parents divorced and he, his sister and brother chose to live with his father, while his youngest brother lived with his mother. Shortly after, both his mother and father remarried. In 1979, at age 23, he starred in his first movie He Knows Your Alone. He was recognized and put into different low key films which finally led him to a bigger career. Some of his greatest movies are Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan and Apollo 13. Tom Hanks currently lives in Concord, California where he grew up. He was originally interested in being an astronaut, but instead he is just part of the NASA support program. He also enjoys watching the English soccer. Click here to return to the Table of Contents
Toy Story 3 Review The movie was about a bunch of toys that used to be played with all of the time by a young kid named Andy. Once he got older and was planning on going to college, he stopped playing with them and he got rid of them. The toys were sent to a daycare center where they were hurt by the kids, and therefore tried to escape, but they had enemies trying to keep them in. The movie is so clever, funny and entertaining that you just have to see it! Their plan to escape is very dramatic and scary for the viewer. Click here to return to the Table of Contents
A “Must See” Movie Toy Story 3 definitely deserves an Academy Award because it is so clever and entertaining. The producers and directors should be recognized for their work.
