Jean Leon-Gerome • Gerome was a painter and sculptor • He was extremely involved in the Academism movement, and was against the art movements that were to come next • Much like other artists of the movement, Gerome painted people and scenes that told a story while remaining composed • Gerome taught at the School of Fine Arts • He also was a part of something else...
