  2. 4A Wireless Mode Menu • ON The wireless networkis enabled. The delegates and chairman can use thewireless devices that: • Have a subscription, and • Are enabled. • Sleep The wireless network is inthe sleep mode. Use the sleep mode to increase the timebetween charge of the batteries (for example, during along break in a discussion or conference). • OFF The wireless network is disabled. All wireless devices with a subscription are automatically disabled. • Subscription The wirelessnetwork is in the subscription mode.   3. 4J Wireless Menu • 4Ja Auto Mic Off • When this function is enabled, the microphones ofthewireless devices are automatically disabled whenthey are not used for 30 seconds. • Can be used to increase the time betweencharge of the batteries of the wireless contributiondevices.   4. 4J Wireless Menu • 4Jb System ID • Sets the identifier of the system • Adjacent systems must have a different systemidentities (and different carriers) • Set the correct system identity before you do theinstallation of the system.   5. 4J Wireless Menu • 4Jc Repetition • Sets the number ofrepetitions of audiopackets. • If the repetition rate of audio packets is increased: • The audio quality of the wireless network canincrease. • The audio delay increases. • If the repetition rate of audio packets is decreased: • The audio quality of the wireless network candecrease • The audio delay decreases. • Note : Only speakers who listen to themselves canhave a problem with anincreased audio delay DCNW Tech IO Configuring WCCU

System ID12 System ID8 = System A System ID3 = System B = System C 4J Wireless Menu • 4Jd WAP • In this menu the carrier of the WAP can be set. • Adjacent systems must havedifferent carriers (and different System Identities). • You can change the carrier after you did theinitialization of the system Note : When you change the carrier during a discussion orconference, the wireless devices temporarily cannot findthe network.   7. Initialize the system • Step 1 - De-Initialize all units connected to the DCN system. All LEDs on all DCN units come on. • Step 2 - Erase the subscriptions of all wireless devices.   8. Initialize the system • Step 4 -Push the microphone button of each active device inthe DCN. When the central control unit gives anaddress to an active DCN device, the LEDs of theactive device go off. • Step 5 -Push the microphone button of each wireless device.All LEDs on the all wireless devices come on.
