  1. Tragically, Sammy Davis Jr. died at age 64 in 1990 from throat cancer. Known as the “Entertainer of Entertainers” Sammy was also a heavy smoker.

  2. Nat King Cole, velvet voice, and a heavy smoker. Smoking up to three packs a day. He believed smoking kept his voice low.He died of lung cancer on February 15, 1965 at age 45.
