  2. A barren or desolate area, especially: a. A dry, often sandy region of little rainfall, extreme temperatures, and sparse vegetation Deserts: One animal that lives in the desert is a Gila Monster. The climate of the desert is usually warm. Some deserts can be very dry!!! Mostly the desert doesn’t have much rain. Some coyotes can be found in the desert. If you are lost in the desert headaches might not be your biggest problem!!!

  3. Grassland: An area, such as a prairie or meadow, of grass or grass like vegetation. One animal that lives in the grassland is!! a ZEBRA! The grasslands climate is basically dry. The grasslands can be hard to find food in. The grassland too has very little rain, Animals can sometime struggle to find water. Did you know that grasslands are subtropical. The cheetah is the best cat adapted to grasslands.

  4. Wetland: A lowland area such as , Swamps ,Or lakes. The climate in the wetland is of course WET!! The wetland has loads of water!! One animal that lives in the wetland is a shrimp. Some wetlands aren’t always wet though. Did you know sometimes forests can get more water than wetlands. Flamingos are also a part of the ecosystem enviorment.

Tundra: A treeless area between the icecap and the tree line of arctic regions, having a permanently frozen subsoil and supporting low-growing vegetation such as lichens, mosses, and stunted shrubs. Tempertures usually reach to about 50 F. The southern hemisphere is found in the Antartic peninsula. The climate in this area is usually cold or mild. One animal that lives here is a polar bear. Tundra also covers one fifth of the earth. Tundra can go on far and is very long!!

  6. Forest: A dense growth of trees, plants, and underbrush covering a large area A forest has a high density of trees. One animal that lives in a forest is a frog. The forest grows plants such as western red ceder, and grand five etc. Forests can be peaceful or sometimes loud. The climate in a forest can be wet or sometimes cold. In forests they use the wood for construction..

  7. Ocean: The entire body of salt water that covers more than 70 percent of the earth's surface One animal that an ocean has is jelly fish. The ocean can sometimes be a dangerous place. The ocean has lots of natural wildlife. Bodies of saltwater cover four fifths of the ocean. Because the ocean stores so much heat seasons occur later. The ocean is one of the earths most natural resources.
