Diet • The sea turtles eat jellies and as an adult they eat sea grasses and algae. • Sea turtles that are kept in an aquarium are fed lettuce, gel foods and different minerals. • Green sea turtles have a beak and their teeth are sharp to be able to tear through grasses.

Healthy Habitat A green turtle has to have a clean habitat. The coral and other objects should be left in the ocean so it doesn’t damage the natural habitat. All trash should be picked up from the ocean. The turtles are usually found closer to shore and in shallow water. Turtles should have a clear pathway to swim around in their habitat. Annoying the turtles can lead to stress or injury.
