Contractions • ‘tis = it is, as in “’Tis a pity thou art only two feet tall.” • e’er = ever, as in “Don’t e’er eateth thy peas with a knife” • oft = often, as “He oft neglecteth to doeth his homework.”
Pronouns • ye = you, as in “Gather ye together to party.” • thou = subject you, as in “Thou hadst better getteth it together.” • thee = object you, as in “I love thee very much.”
