IDDL Purpose • Provide leadership, coordination & support to the University’s distance & distributed learning efforts • Provide an organizational structure & network to connect learners with a system of distributed resources regardless of time and place and in support of: teaching and learning, research and outreach.

Institute Goals for 2000-2001 • Provide faculty with support in transforming courses through the integration of instructional and informational technologies. • Improve program and student support services for distance and distributed learners. • Increase research and development activities in the creation, delivery and reception of educational programming.
