  15. Participant Quotes My overall experience with the CDN Diversity and Inclusion Recognition program is that it REALLY helps me keep pushing myself to learn about diverse cultures or experiences very different from my own. I believe I would have participated in/attended many of the same events and programs I did. However, due to the program I did them more consciously and reflected upon them more than I may have without the program.

  16. Participant Quotes Without this program being a guide, gentle reminder and an incentive for me, I know that I would be far more limited in my knowledge, awareness and comfort-ability with topics and issues that focus on diversity and inclusion. The main impact this program has had on me is to help me be more intentional about exploring and challenging my own perceptions about our world. The program has helped push me to take advantage of opportunities that, in the busyness of the semester, I may have otherwise pushed aside.
