  5. Why Classroom Management? My student teaching experience Jackson High School - Target class: French 1-A (2nd and 4th hour) - French 2-A and French 3/4-C One challenge after another - Consistently disrespectful - Classroom set-up

  7. Discipline: Consequences versus Punishments Punishment: - Does not serve as a learning purpose. Consequences: - Constructive outcome: an end result of a child’s inappropriate act.

  8. “I can wait” Planned wait time - Students quiet themselves - Students become leaders - Lesson moves at a faster pace “Even though it seems like you are wasting valuable instruction time waiting for students to be done speaking out of turn. When in fact, planned wait time will eventually increase the time you have to teach.”

  13. StudentResponses I cant remember the last time I took notes in here. Miss Lademan has tricks. I’m taking notes! This be obnoxious, Miss Lademan. And everyone is laughing.  Not a single head was down that day.

  15. StudentResponses This wasn’t very helpful because I understood the notes on definite and indefinite articles that we took yesterday It was cool. It’s nice having something new. I didn’t get what we went over yesterday and people weren’t talking during your video today so I understood it better. You’re notes are a little too fast and this went slow enough that I understood.
