  4. Treasury Management Solution was first implemented in Assam Budget Management System Departmental System Budget & Ceiling Budgeting & Revision Budget & Ceiling Distribution at DDO Level Consolidated Information Warehouse Treasury Management System Payment & Receipt Single Window Interface !!!

Directorate of Accounts & Treasuries (DoAT), Govt. of Assam, Problem • DoAT manages 53 treasuries across the state and provides management & monitoring reports to the Finance department • Monitoring of actual expenses against the budget was extremely difficult on the existing manual system Solution • Developed a central server based system connecting all treasuries, the Finance department and the DoAT office Benefits • Real time ways and means position and elimination of overdrafts • Elimination of budgetary deficits through better management of expenditure and incomes • Conservation of national resources through Real-time inputs to the CAG
