  5. Grading Policy • Student grades will be determined using the percentages below: Tests---------------------------------25% Quizzes----------------------------- 25% Quarterly assessment-----------10% Class work------------------------- 30% Homework--------------------------10% 100%

  7. Testing • MSA: Students will be tested on 8th grade material for 8th grade students. (Course: Pre – Algebra) 6th grade students will be tested on 6th grade material. (Course: MSMI) This test is taken in March. • High School Assessment: 8th graders in Algebra 1 this year will take the HSA. Students should keep all work, especially quizzes to help prepare for the test. This test is taken in May.
