Schools selection 10 schools have been selected according to selection criteria - on the basis of building/construction type ( new vs. old) - on the basis of polluted vs. clean environment: • Schools in worse environmental conditions • Schools in better environmental conditions

Cooperation with Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic Ministry of Education of the SR • Has been informed about the goal of the project • Has been asked to support the realization of this international project in the selected schools in SR • Has been asked to inform the directors of the selected schools about realization of the project Ministry of Education of the SR has expressed a supportive statement to realize SEARCH project in Slovak Republic
Questionnaires • Questionnaire on the classroom • Questionnaire on the respiratory and allergic symptoms of school-children and home environment • Questionnaire on the school environment Questionnaires have been translated to the Slovak language and have been sent to REC for back translation control
National meetings Three meetings of the national experts were realized in Bratislava, Authority of Public Health of Slovak Republic to discuss: • Selection criteria of the 10 schools • Preparation of the meetings with school representatives, teachers, parents • Preparation of the information letter for parents • Laboratory analysis in the Authority of Public Health in Bratislava and Regional Authority of Public Health in Banska Bystrica
Training Program Training program: Improving Indoor Air Quality in Schools, REC for Central and Eastern Europe Material is in the translation process to the Slovak language with aim to use it in health education training program in schools.
