GCSE and Equivalents • AVERAGE CAPPED POINTS SCORE =356 (BEST 8 SUBJECTS) • (2012 = 346) • Well above national figures . • Nationally percentages have dropped. (Grades A*-C =68.1% in 2013 down from 69.4% in 2012) • At Guilsborough School % has increased. (81.2% in 2013 up from 77.8% in 2012) • English and Maths have improved percentages of A*-C grades whilst nationally they have dropped.

MOST ABLE STUDENTS 2013 • 29 Students Achieved 8+ A*/A Grades. • (2012 = 15 students) • 5 girls achieved 8+ A* grades. • 7% of grades were at A* compared to 3.4% in 2012.
Levels of Progress 2013 • English 3 LOP KS2 -4 = 86% ( 76% 2012, 75% 2011, 78% 2010) • Maths 3 LOP KS2-4 = 87% (77% 2012,88% 2011, 81% 2010) • English 4LOP KS2-4 = 44%, (38% 2012, 32% 2011) • Maths 4LOP KS2-4 = 51% ( 43% 2012, 50% 2011) • These figures demonstrate how students have achieved at all levels not just at threshold C/D borderline measures. • These figures put Guilsborough in the Outstanding category.
KS5 • A- LEVEL • 80% A*- C GRADES -- up from 75% in 2012 • 50% A*- B GRADES -- up from 47% in 2012 • Most Able did well, with 7 students achieving straight A*/A grades at A2.
