Hunting with gps !. Introduction. I did this project in order to bring awareness to satellite hunting. By using forms of satellite for hunting, such as GPS, hunters can get better observations of their land.

Introduction • I did this project in order to bring awareness to satellite hunting. • By using forms of satellite for hunting, such as GPS, hunters can get better observations of their land. • By accessing areas from the air which would otherwise be impenetrable from ground travel, you can obtain different views of your land and determine what your animals may need for better health or what they may already have an abundance of.

  3. Gear • When hunting with GPS, you need to use top-of-the-line gear. Cheap gear will get you poor results. (You get what you pay for!) • When shopping for GPS units, I would recommend Garmin, Magellan, Lowrance, or DeLorme.
