Owned by 2300 member Hualapai Tribe opened in March 2007 located at far Western end of Grand Canyon near Guano Point.The Skywalk projects 70 feet out over the rim and 250 feet back into the rocky cliff.Located 4,000 feet above Colorado River.Buses take visitors from Grand Canyon West Airport to Skywalk and Guano Point and costs $68 per person.
Floor made of 5 layers of laminated glass made in Germany.One panel had been replaced by metal because the top layer had been cracked by a dropped camera. Required to wear cloth booties and put all gear including cameras in a locker. They have photographers taking pictures for sale.
