There are two types of Saffron basically grows in Kashmir " MONGRA & LACHHA " so let's talk about the characteristics of each type.<br><br><br>1. MONGRA <br>u2022 This variety has only thick long Stigmas (Red Filaments) & No other part of Saffron flower and it's obtained by separating stigmas from the yellow style.<br><br>u2022 Kashmiri Mongra Saffron is essentially without the waste of White end strand.
