  3. 7th Grade English – 8/30/2013 • Complete all Week 1 activities by the end of class today. • This includes conferencing with the teacher.

  4. Conferencing with your teacher • Bring your journal and timeline to the conference table. • Be prepared to discuss your Week 1 progress with your teacher. • Return to your desk to make any needed improvements to your journal and/or timeline.

  5. When finished • Take out a book of your own OR • Visit the classroom library to select one AND • Read for the remainder of class

  6. Memories of Writing • Think about your past writing experiences. • Describesome of those writing experiences in your journal. • Create a timelineof your experiences using the information from your journal and a strip of construction paper. • Decorateyour timeline and turn it in when you come to the conference table.
